かつら
かつら製作の仕事
舞台やテレビ、映画などで使用するかつらを１から作り上げる仕事です。かつら製作は全て手作業で、日本髪の土台は金属で出来ているものもあり、叩いて丸みをつけ頭の形に合わせます。一方で洋髪はネットに毛を1本1本通して仕上げていきます。熟練した職人が作り上げていく過程では、時に大胆なアイディアも必要になり、コツコツと作り上げることが好きな方にとって魅力のある手仕事です。
Making Wigs
We make wigs used for stages, TV shows, and movies from scratch. Everything is done by hand. For Japanese coiffure, some of the bases are made of metal and we strike and bend them to fit to the shape of head. For Western style, we create them by putting each single hair through the net. In some cases, bold ideas are required and our skilled craftsmen work hard every day.
ヘアスタイリング
ヘアスタイリングの仕事
床山、結髪と呼ばれる仕事です。演者さんの役柄に合わせて日本髪を結い上げたり、洋物かつらをカット、カールしてスタイリングします。
撮影や舞台の現場に立ち会い演者さんにかつらをのせるのも私たちの仕事です。
伝統的な髪型からトレンドを意識した髪型まで幅広い知識が必要になります。
Hairstyling
This job is called “keppatsu” or “tokoyama” in Japanese show business. We do up the performers’ hair in Japanese style to suit their role and style Western wigs by cutting and curling them, as well as present at film sets or stages and properly attach the wigs to performers. Although we have to know well about various hairstyles from traditional coiffures to hairdos that are on trend, when our wigs are perfectly fit to the role and make them happy, we feel rewarding.

ヘアメイクの仕事
一般的なヘアメイクの仕事ではありますが、ヘアサロンとは異なり、求められる場面に合わせて、様々なヘアメイクやスタイリングが必要になります。各時代の流行や最新のトレンドまでヘアメイクの知識が多いほど、仕事の幅は広がります。主な業務はテレビ局やロケ現場での仕事で、ニュースやバラエティ番組の収録、演劇やミュージカルなど、仕事をしながら技術を磨き上げていくこともできます。
Doing Hair and Makeup
Although it is general hair and makeup job, different from typical beauty salon, a wide range of stylings and makeups are required depending on the scene. Getting more knowledge of hairstyles and makeups from the fashion of each era to the latest trend broadens career opportunities. We work mainly at TV stations or filming locations. Through the experiences at recording of entertainment shows or the news, plays, and musicals, we further hone our skills.
